Traditional Bluestone
The design brief from the clients was to create a garden sympathetic to the architecture of the home. A more traditional, symmetrical layout was implemented at the front of the property using large format sawn bluestone paving and edging to create an axis and to divide garden beds and planter boxes. The planting was designed around the positioning of two advanced Magnolia trees, layered and terraced behind the wrought iron and bluestone fence.
The Eastern courtyard is framed by an avenue of Ornamental Pears and broken into smaller rooms by screens of Portuguese Laurel.
The rear of the property has a large sawn bluestone terrace and swimming pool surrounded by a hedged wall of Leightons Green bordered by Box hedging under planted with fragrant Daphne.
The small private courtyard is defined by a large sawn bluestone seat showcased by a magnificent advanced Crepe Myrtle, carpeted by Hellebores.
