When we first visited the site to formulate a concept for their bayside garden the natural advantages of its orientation were obvious. The mature advanced palms with the clifftop and bay as a backdrop provided a beautiful vista which needed a landscape which accentuated this setting.
Using the main palm tree as a focal point we used a raised deck to break the levels and retain the palms’ garden bed whilst creating a terraced effect. The paving used around the pool and spa is exfoliated granite in “tortoise” and the dropdown edge coping squares the corners of the fibreglass pool and creates a finish more akin to a concrete tiled pool. The landscape was finished with a connecting deck linking the pool area to the house and all the elements combine with a detailed and quality finish to create a spectacular result.
